01/How it works
The honest version of the A2P journey.
A2P messaging has real steps with real review by carriers and The Campaign Registry. Anyone who tells you it's instant is selling you a future rejection. Here's how it actually goes — and where we make it faster.
- 01
Register your brand
Usually 1–3 business days
Every A2P sender needs a registered brand with The Campaign Registry. We draft yours from a few plain-English answers about your business, then file it directly as a CSP — under your identity, so it's genuinely yours.
What to expect · You'll provide basics like legal entity name, EIN, and contact details. Most brands verify quickly; a small share get flagged for manual review, which adds a day or two. We tell you which path you're on.
- 02
Vet your campaign
Often same-day to a few days
A campaign describes how you'll actually message people — the use case, sample messages, and your opt-in language. Carriers review this. We pre-check it against their rules so you fix problems before submitting, not after a rejection.
What to expect · Common rejections — missing opt-in proof, no STOP/HELP language, prohibited content — are caught up front. Clean campaigns clear fastest; we'll flag anything likely to bounce.
- 03
Get a number — or port yours in
Hero featureNew: minutes · Porting: typically 1–3 weeks
Provision a fresh local or toll-free number in minutes, or port in the numbers your customers already recognize. Porting depends on your losing carrier's timelines, but we give you a checklist, live status, and a target date you can plan around.
What to expect · Porting timelines are set partly by the carrier you're leaving — we can't promise the impossible. What we can promise: no silent stalls. You'll always know the current status and what's blocking, if anything.
- 04
Go live
Immediate once approved
With an approved brand, a vetted campaign, and a number attached, you send. Through the dashboard or one API call. Delivery state streams back in real time, and your spend reconciles to the penny from message one.
What to expect · We start you with sensible throughput and raise limits as your sending reputation builds. No surprise throttling — you'll see your limits and your headroom.
