Simultaneous ringing sends a call to every device at once and connects whoever answers first. Staged ringing tries one group first, such as the team's apps, then falls back to another group or voicemail after a set number of seconds.
When to ring everyone
Small teams where any person can take any call. It gives callers the fastest answer.
When to stage it
When the office should answer first and mobile phones only as a backup. Set the ring timeout on the number's route, from 5 to 120 seconds.
